Like a Rainbow...

Here is a quick layout I did using scrap strips of paper left over from the layout in the previous post "Sugar & Spice". I did this layout for the Memory Keeping Monday Challenge happening at 2peas. The challenge is to stamp on the background of your page. Today I received a package I ordered from Papertrey Ink (my first set of stamps from them) and thought what a great way to break them open.

I used two stamp sets from them fist is the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set. I used the sentiments as the title of the page and the butterflies flying off the page from this set.

And for the row of flowers at the bottom I used: Beautiful Blooms II set I love this set. There are so many flowers and ways to stamp these. I have a bunch of ideas rolling through my head on this one. I embellished the page with some rhinestones, an ormolu pin, and some Jillibean Soup Twine.

I misted the scrap sheets of paper with some white Mister Huey and used an October Afternoon button beside my journaling.

Not Pictured: The Blue and Green sheets of paper are a Studio Calico Kit exclusive. The date stamp is a standard issue one from an office supply store. And the stamp sets are Papertrey Ink are linked above.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!! Thanks for stopping in!
